Hi All, I just got off of the phone with Rachael. It sounds like Mia is having a pretty rough day today. She has been desatting a lot today and they have increased her oxygen and breathing rate to try to keep her stabilized. She has also been running a mild temperature for the last couple of days. They have sent of a culture sample from her trache to see if she is infected with anything. At this time they are suspecting that she might have pneumonia but they will have to wait for the test results to come back to confirm it. They are going to give her some antibiotics to see if that will help her out at all.
Please keep Mia in your thoughts and prayers today as she goes through this little rough patch.
