Mia Amore Adamis - February 5, 2009

Hi all, here is the latest...

Rachael was finally able to see Mia this morning. Mia is still on a ventilator but her oxygen levels and blood pressure have stabilized a little.

We talked to the eye doctor this morning and he said from what he can see at this stage there isn't to much to be of concern yet. He said she didn't respond much to light but for her development stage that is nothing of concern yet. He did note a slightly smaller optic nerve going from the eye to the brain but said that that might not be a big issue and only time will tell.

They just did an ultra sound on the heart to see what is going on there. The doctor said the heart is looking much better today. He did note that the lungs were still lagging behind a bit and has recommended keeping her on O2. This probably means they won't do an MRI today.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Please pass this on to whomever you think will want to be in on the loop, if you know of someone that would like to receive the e-mail updates please send me their address. (Does anyone have Isaac Josifek's e-mail address?)

Rob
