Starting our 24h watch.

We have decided that we need to be present and observing Mia on a 24 hour watch. Starting today, we will have one family member present at the hospital non-stop. We want to be able to see how Mia responds to the different medications she is on. From what we have seen the phenobarb that she is on to control her seizures is definitely having an affect on her alertness and responsiveness. We are concerned that the doctor is only seeing her when she is drugged up and not as we saw her just before she got her next dose of medicine.

On this note, Katie and Dan will be coming in to town tomorrow to give us more bodies to be present at the hospital. We are hoping that Irvin and Renee will be able to join us as soon as they can.

We will keep you updated as much as possible. Please continue to pray for Mia that she will continue to improve as we have seen her do so far. Also pray for Rachael and I as we have to meet with the doctors that we will have wisdom to ask the right questions and the understanding to comprehend what they are communicating to us.
